MIDWESTupdate 10/25/2007

It’s that time of year MIDWEST. We love Halloween and this weekend marks the beginning of that party’s!! We have included a list of our recommendations, found below, and we hope to see you out at one of these events. They are all sure to be a good time!

Just so everyone knows, we just got some new merchandise in! First is our Dope Logo Incognito, or “codename: stealth” series. Yupoong Flexfit Cool & Dry Calocks Tricot Cap, in both Navy and Khaki, with matching stitching. Also, our new Maroon hat with Golden logo and Maroon (incognito) lettering. Super cool.

We had alot of fun last weekend with The Werks and Back Forty at The Scarlet And Grey Cafe. We look forward to going back there soon. Be sure to check out both of these bands as soon as you have the chance.

Fun stuff planned for the end of November / beginning of December, but we have no time to talk about that, it’s freakin’ Halloween!!! You know that every show is a wild card this time of year, so get out and see something crazy! Plus, dressing up is fun, and every one of these shows has a costume contest. Do your best, and see you this weekend!!!

The Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan is a nonprofit women’s resource center based in Ann Arbor. We provide affordable counseling, financial, legal, and job-related services. Our doors are open to individuals who want to realize their potential emotionally, professionally, and financially. Although our work is primarily by and for women, we also welcome men and boys. We draw upon competencies that our volunteers, staff, and participants have in common: resourcefulness, courage, commitment, creativity, and resilience. Together we strive to raise consciousness, build confidence, and strengthen connections—one person, one family, one community at a time. (Formerly known as “The Women’s Center of America,” we changed our name in July 2006 to reflect the agency’s more regional scope.
